As Personal Information Controller, shwe88 is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data relating to Philippine-based Players, implementing appropriate organizational and technical security measures, honoring the rights of data subjects as provided under RA 10173, and notifying the National Privacy Commission and affected data subjects of any personal data breach within the timeframes prescribed by applicable law.

shwe88 has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing compliance with this Policy and applicable Philippine data privacy law. Contact details for the DPO are provided in Section 16 of this Policy.

shwe88 collects the following categories of personal data from Players and Platform visitors, to the extent necessary for the purposes described in Section 5:

shwe88 does not collect sensitive personal information as defined under RA 10173 (such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, or sexual orientation) except where such information is voluntarily disclosed by a Player in the context of a responsible gaming or support interaction, in which case it is processed solely for the purpose for which it was disclosed.

shwe88 processes personal data for the following purposes, all of which are directly connected to operating a licensed Philippine online gaming platform:

• Service Improvement: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized gaming activity and Platform usage data to improve game offerings, user interface design, and payment processes. This analysis does not involve identifying individual Players.
• Customer Support: Responding to account queries, resolving disputes, and addressing complaints submitted through shwe88's support channels.
• Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Fulfilling obligations imposed by PAGCOR, NPC, AMLC, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and other Philippine regulatory authorities with jurisdiction over shwe88's operations.
• Marketing Communications (with consent): Sending promotional offers, bonus notifications, and relevant platform updates to Players who have affirmatively consented to receive such communications. You may withdraw this consent at any time through your account settings.

Each shwe88 personal data processing activity is conducted on one of the following legal bases as recognized under Republic Act No. 10173:

• Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to fulfill shwe88's obligations under the Terms & Conditions agreement with you — including account creation, game access, payment processing, and customer support.
• Legal Obligation: Processing is required to comply with Philippine law, including PAGCOR licensing requirements, RA 9160 (Anti-Money Laundering Act), RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act), BIR tax obligations, and other applicable statutes and regulatory issuances.
• Legitimate Interests: Processing is necessary for shwe88's legitimate interests in detecting fraud, preventing unauthorized access, ensuring platform security, and protecting the interests of other Platform users — where such interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
• Consent: Processing is based on your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent — specifically applicable to marketing communications and any optional data collection activities clearly described at the point of data collection. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing conducted before withdrawal.

shwe88 does not sell, rent, or trade personal data to any third party for commercial purposes. Data is shared with external parties only in the following circumstances, and only to the extent necessary for the stated purpose:

• Payment Service Providers: GCash (Mynt), PayMaya (Voyager), BPI, BDO, Metrobank, UnionBank, and other approved Philippine payment processors receive the minimum personal and financial data required to execute deposit and withdrawal transactions on your behalf.
• KYC Verification Providers: Third-party identity verification service providers engaged by shwe88 receive identity documents and photographs for the sole purpose of verifying your identity in compliance with PAGCOR and AML requirements. These providers operate under data processing agreements that prohibit use of your data for any other purpose.
• PAGCOR: As the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation regulating shwe88's operations, PAGCOR may require access to Player data in the context of licensing audits, compliance reviews, or regulatory investigations. shwe88 is obligated to comply with lawful PAGCOR requests.

shwe88 uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform for the following purposes:

• Essential Session Cookies: Required for Platform functionality — maintaining your logged-in session, storing your authenticated state between page loads, and enabling secure gameplay. These cookies cannot be disabled without materially impairing your ability to use the Platform.

Under Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), all Filipino data subjects hold the following rights with respect to their personal data processed by shwe88. You may exercise these rights by contacting the shwe88 Data Protection Officer using the contact details in Section 16:

shwe88 will respond to all verified data subject rights requests within fifteen (15) working days of receiving a complete request with sufficient identity verification. If shwe88 discovers or is notified that personal data has been collected from a person under the minimum age requirement, shwe88 will immediately close the relevant account, refund any deposits made to that account (subject to applicable compliance verification), and delete all personal data associated with the minor from its systems as promptly as technically feasible and as permitted by applicable law.

The shwe88 Platform and the majority of its data processing infrastructure are operated within and in connection with the Republic of the Philippines. Where shwe88 engages third-party service providers — such as cloud infrastructure providers, KYC verification platforms, or game content providers — that process data outside the Philippines, shwe88 takes the following steps to ensure your data remains protected:

• All cross-border data transfers are documented and assessed for compliance with NPC requirements under RA 10173
• Transfers to offshore processors are governed by binding Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that impose RA 10173-equivalent data protection obligations on the recipient
• shwe88 conducts due diligence on the data protection practices of all offshore service providers before engagement and at periodic intervals thereafter
• Where required by NPC regulations, shwe88 registers cross-border data sharing arrangements with the National Privacy Commission

If you have concerns about a specific international data transfer involving your personal data, please contact the shwe88 DPO using the contact details in Section 16.

The shwe88 Platform may contain references to or integrations with third-party services, including payment processors such as GCash, PayMaya, and Philippine banking applications. When you access a third-party service through or in connection with shwe88, you do so subject to that third party's privacy policy and terms — not this Policy.

shwe88 is not responsible for the privacy practices, data security measures, or content of any third-party platform or service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of GCash (Mynt), PayMaya (Voyager), and any other third-party services you use in connection with your shwe88 account.

shwe88 reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, applicable Philippine law, PAGCOR requirements, or NPC guidance. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the date of the most recent revision.

Where changes to this Policy are material — meaning they significantly affect the nature or scope of personal data processing in a way that may impact your rights — shwe88 will provide advance notice via email to your registered address and/or a prominent Platform notification at least fourteen (14) days before the changes take effect. Where required by RA 10173, shwe88 will seek fresh consent for any material change that expands the scope of consent-based processing.

Continued use of the shwe88 Platform following the effective date of any Policy update constitutes acknowledgment of and agreement to the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you should discontinue use of the Platform and request account closure.
